CJA to aid Magnet's corporate identity

NEW YORK: Magnet Communications is ramping up its credentials in

the corporate identity world by folding in the newly acquired

Christopher Johnson & Associates (CJA).

The terms were not disclosed. CJA has worked with clients including

Nikon, Jet Blue, Prudential and Jupiter Media Metrix.

CJA founder Christopher Johnson, has been named SVP of Magnet's newly

formed Design & Identity division.

David Kratz, Magnet's president and CEO, is currently reorganizing his

firm, following a number of lay-offs and the departure of CEO Darryl


Magnet is also still in the process of negotiating the purchase of

Hauser Bragg Communications, a Chicago-based consumer PR firm.
