NEW YORK: The PRWeek Awards 2002 has just launched, and the
eremony promises to be more spectacular than ever.
The black-tie awards dinner will take place at Tavern on the Green, in
the romantic heart of New York's Central Park, on February 21, 2002.
More than 1,000 PR industry figures are expected to attend.
There are 30 awards this year, including three new categories: PR
Innovation of the Year; Product Brand Development Campaign of the Year;
and Corporate Branding Campaign of the Year.
"The PRWeek Awards is already established as the No. 1 awards event of
the PR industry," said editor-in-chief Adam Leyland. "With this stunning
and prestigious new venue, I'm confident this will only add to the
glamour of the event."
The deadline for awards entries is October 31, 2001. A copy of the
