I got into public relations after I started a national magazine for
law students while attending law school myself. I began the process of
pitching my business partner and myself to various media outlets. Rather
quickly, I was able to get feature stories in Folio, The National Law
Journal and a few other magazines. I thought, "This isn't so hard."
Little did I know how naive I was. A PR executive saw the article in The
National Law Journal and called me to see if I wanted to work for a new
start-up PR firm that catered to lawyers.
After a little persuading I decided to join the firm and I've been here
at Levick Strategic Communications for three years. I spent the first
few days on the job laughing about the fact that I was actually listed
in Media Map.
