NEW YORK: Relatives of Osama bin Laden are reportedly looking for
an agency to help them wage a PR campaign distancing them from the
suspected architect of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Steve
Goldstein and his firm, Attention America, were approached by one of bin
Laden's brothers last week.
An observant Jew who describes himself as pro-Israel, the former Capitol
Hill staffer and campaign manager for Sen. John Corzine (D-NJ) thinks he
was approached by bin Laden's family because of his religious and
political stance. He went directly to the FBI following the meeting.
The Binladen family claims to have disinherited Osama years ago. The
brother who approached Goldstein claims to have met Osama bin Laden only
a handful of times.
