NEW YORK: Targus, a company that provides accessories for mobile
professionals, has issued an RFP to include its five brands Targus,
PORT, cdProjects, Glacier Gear, and RAKGear. Total billings for the
project will reach $400,000 a year.
The RFP is broken into two parts. The first part requires parameters of
work and a quotation for management of all five brands. In the second
part, companies are asked to suggest a proposal for three brands:
cdProjects, Glacier Gear, and RAKGear.
Targus produced the first carrying case for the IBM Think-Pad, and
distributes products in over 145 countries. Responses to the RFP are due
on October 5.
