WASHINGTON: Nancy Glick has joined Ruder Finn's DC office as EVP of
the healthcare practice.
Glick worked for nearly two decades at Hill & Knowlton, where she served
as a lead member of its healthcare practice. She joins former colleague
Kenneth Rabin, who joined Ruder Finn in January as EVP and senior
counsel of the global healthcare practice. Rabin and Glick worked
together during the '80s and early '90s, before he left to oversee
Burson-Marsteller's global healthcare practice.
"The two have a very complementary, collaborative relationship," said
Craig Martin, managing director of Ruder Finn's DC office. "Their
experience in the healthcare arena is phenomenal, tremendous."
Glick will provide strategic counsel for the firm. Her focus will be in
patient advocacy. As a survivor of lymphoma, Glick brings a personal
perspective to the area of cancer communications and public
advocacy.
"Part of what attracted me to the job was the fact that I'll be able to
devote more time and attention to my new passion, which is
cancer-patient advocacy," said Glick. "I've just gotten a clean bill of
health from my doctor, and I am as healthy as a horse. I've got the
focus, I've got the energy, and I feel better than I have in years."
