Blicksilver leaves Citigate Sard role

NEW YORK: After seven months as a partner at Citigate Sard

Verbinnen, following a two-and-a-half-year run at Citigate Dewe

Rogerson, Owen Blicksilver has quit his post, with no job to go to.

Working from his Nassau County home on projects he has taken with him

from Sard and "mulling his career options," Blicksilver is currently

representing the Texas Pacific Group (which he has serviced since it

formed in 1993), Colony Capital Partners (with which he has a 10-year

relationship), and Blum Capital Partners, a more recent account win.

Of his ex-employer, Blicksilver said "the fit wasn't right" in

explaining his departure.

George Sard, Sard chairman and CEO, said Blicksilver's departure was an

individual matter, and a case of mutual agreement.
