SAN FRANCISCO: Plesser Associates has been retained by four new
clients for accounts totaling approximately $250,000.
MySimon.com, the comparison-shopping website, hired the firm to promote
the ease and value of its service, especially as the holiday season
looms.
San Francisco magazine has retained Plesser as its first agency of
record, prompted by Nellie Rodgers, its newly appointed director of
marketing.
"I recognized how many opportunities there were locally in media outlets
to get San Francisco magazine's editors branded in the market, and get
our story out there," Rodgers said.
Plesser has also entered a joint marketing arrangement with the global
market-research firm Frost & Sullivan to promote its world-wide CRM
conference in January.
And Technology Solution has hired Plesser as agency of record, as it
prepares to launch an IT trade magazine and website in December. "It's
interesting to work with a tech publisher during this very difficult
period for IT spending," Plesser said.
