NEW YORK: Management consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton has
selected Makovsky & Company to complete a one-year account estimated to
be worth approximately $500,000.
Makovsky has been hired to raise the profile of the firm's partners, and
will promote the firm's various industry surveys.
A second part of the account focuses on raising the profile of the
firm's quarterly magazine Strategy + Business.
Makovsky, which beat out competition from five other agencies, has
previously worked with management consulting firms such as Mercer
Management Consulting and EDS. The pitch process began around three
months ago, and concluded at the end of September. Makovsky has already
begun work on the account.
Robinson, Lerer & Montgomery, the incumbent agency, handed over the
account in the days following the September 11 terrorist attacks.
