NEW YORK: Scott Allison, formerly president of Connors
Communications, has purchased the West Coast assets of that agency and
rebranded it as Allison & Partners.
Allison purchased Connors' LA and San Francisco offices, and has
retained all of those offices' clients, including Medic-Ware, Tibco, and
Logilent.
Allison has also retained all of the staff that previously worked for
Connors - seven in Los Angeles, and 12 in San Francisco.
"We had to look at what is the best long-term strategy for the viability
of the company," said Allison, now president and CEO of Allison &
Partners.
"We felt splitting it up was in the best interest of the business, and
we brought in outside investors."
Allison will still work closely with Connors, which has offices in New
York and London. Connors has just been retained by Cablevision to work
on many of its digital business units, including Optimum Online, Power
to Learn, and the eMedia Group.
