SAN FRANCISCO: AtomicPR has been chosen as global agency of record
for Hitachi Data Systems.
The firm's successful pitch was due in part to its combined
extranet/intranet technology that allows the client to have constant
access to the account work as it develops.
"AtomicPR's up-to-date expertise, collaborative online work style, and
streamlined processes are a good match with our needs to move quickly
and coordinate efforts," said Jodi Reinman, PR manager for Hitachi Data
Systems.
Clients are able to log into Atomic's online platforms from around the
world to access briefing books, approve or edit draft releases, or scan
recent clips. All of the client work is contained within the same
electronic platform.
But Atomic said the online tools should not be confused with
gadgetry.
"We leverage a lot of technology to accomplish very common business
objectives," said Andy Getsey, CEO of AtomicPR. "Our approach is
technological because technology is very good at solving specific
problems.
Getsey said that the online platform also encourages more senior
management involvement, because input does not require participation in
formal meetings or conference calls. "It cuts down decision time
dramatically."
The platform also provides same-time access to companies with multiple
international offices.
