NEW YORK AND LONDON: To help pond-jumping clients, New York-based
KCSA Public Relations Worldwide and London-based Cubitt Consulting have
pooled their investor relations, financial, and corporate communications
talents to create a joint venture known as Cubitt/KCSA.
Jeff Corbin, KCSA managing partner, said the two companies, to his
knowledge, were leading the industry by creating a structure in which
KCSA and Cubitt will share individual business as well as jointly staff
Cubitt/KCSA in New York.
"We have a five-year plan," said Corbin. "To start, we want people to
know what we can provide in terms of US IR support for European
companies seeking to tap the US financial markets."
Three-year-old Cubitt and 33-year-old KCSA complement each other, said
Simon Brocklebank-Fowler, Cubitt's founder and managing partner.
"KCSA has no mainland European clients or British clients, so we bring
an existing client base and European technical competence," said
Brocklebank-Fowler. "KCSA brings infrastructure, expertise in local
market delivery, scale, presence, and leverage. We see ourselves as the
European office of KCSA, and we trust they see themselves as the
American office of Cubitt."
