CHICAGO: Michael Rosenbaum, former Financial Relations Board
president, is opening his own firm to go after IR, employee
communications, and general marketing assignments.
Rosenbaum intends only to pursue project work for his new firm,
Rosenbaum Advisors. He'll pitch his services to corporations, as well as
PR firms looking for outside IR capabilities. He also plans to help
companies search for agencies of record.
"What clients really need today is surge capacity in IR and PR," he

the firm was bought by BSMG in 1999. He left the agency last July.
The new agency will be serviced by a team of four, who will work with
Rosenbaum on an as-needed basis.
