NEW YORK: Middleberg Euro RSCG has hired Matt Wolfrom to head the agency's technology practice.

Wolfrom is the agency's first-ever director of technology. Previously, several account leaders were in charge of the practice. Wolfrom will report directly to both managing director Aaron Kwittken and Don Middleberg.

The tech practice has 14 staffers.

Middleberg is divided into four sectors: consumer, financial, tech, and life sciences. "We've never had one person head our tech practice,

said Don Middleberg. "This is reflective of a simplification of the practice that we're trying to achieve."

Wolfrom is coming back to New York after a West Coast stint, where he served as SVP of account services at Wilson McHenry. Before that, he was director of corporate communications and public affairs for Excite at Home.
