Ivers heads back to Warner Bros. to lead film publicity

LOS ANGELES: Warner Bros. has hired Stacy Ivers to head up publicity for the entertainment company's film division.

Ivers will be in charge of trade and consumer media relations, crisis management, and press for current and future releases from Warner Bros.

she said.

The move to Warner Bros. takes Ivers back to a studio she served for nine years, most recently as director of written communications. She left that post to take one of Hollywood's most notoriously difficult PR jobs: publicity head at a talent agency. Ivers spent 18 months at ICM before returning to the studio side as VP of corporate communications for Sony's Columbia Pictures last year.

Ivers left Sony after six months when new marketing head Geoffrey Ammer was hired, and later reshuffled the department.
