have created a new calling for themselves by launching Covenant Consultants, a communications shop targeted toward churches, evangelical groups, and the swelling ranks of Christian-owned businesses and faith-based nonprofits.

So far, churches in five states have signed on with the agency, which was established in late February by VP Rob Bullock and president Justin Ramb.

Another group to opt for its services has been Blue Sky Ministries, which recently sent a crew of "photo-evangelists

to snap pictures of spring breakers in Panama City, FL. Students willing to pose were told to retrieve their images at a website featuring spiritual messages.

According to Shirley Roels, an academic dean and former business professor at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI, "there has been a tremendous rise in business ownership by evangelicals, and there will probably be a substantial expansion of faith-based organizations over the next few years as well."

But Roels also indicated that a number of those entities do not yet have budgets for outside communications counsel.

The partners have already considered that potential hurdle. "We know that some of these clients don't have a lot of money to spend on PR," Bullock said. "We also know that if we're successful in building them up, then someday they might."
