NEW YORK: Burson-Marsteller has added two top names to its New York public affairs roster.

Gregory Miley is a longtime fixture on the New York political scene, having served as associate chief of staff for former Mayor Rudy Giuliani and, most recently, chief of staff at the city's Economic Development Corporation. Miley joins Burson as a director.

Mike Deluca, a restaurant and hospitality journalist, joins as a managing director responsible for hospitality clients. He most recently served as director of corporate development for trade magazine publisher Lebhar-Friedman, but has also written for such magazines as Nation's Restaurant News, Restaurant Hospitality, and Hotel & Motel Management.

Richard Mintz, chairman of the firm's US public affairs practice, called the appointments "further evidence of our growing strength in the New York public affairs arena."
