NEW YORK: NBC has named company veteran Allison Gollust to the post of VP, NBC News communications.
Gollust previously served as senior manager for publicity on Today. Before that, she worked in NBC's corporate communications office.
Gollust will now be in charge of all communications for NBC News, including internal communications, industry and community affairs, and philanthropic activities.
Gollust is replacing Alex Constantinople, who is leaving to join GM as general manager of corporate and marketing communications.
CNBC has also announced a new vice president of PR.
Amy Zelvin will serve as chief spokesperson, handling all communications activities. Before joining CNBC in May 2000, Zelvin was VP of corporate technology and public affairs at Ruder Finn.
