MS&L tapped for Planet Beer work

MALAGA, SPAIN: MS&L is orchestrating a corporate, b-to-b and consumer PR campaign for one of the world's first international brewing events, the World Beer Expo 2003.

MALAGA, SPAIN: MS&L is orchestrating a corporate, b-to-b and consumer PR campaign for one of the world's first international brewing events, the World Beer Expo 2003.

The event, Planet Beer, is scheduled to be held in Malaga next May, and is one of the first events of its kind to unite brewers and beer drinkers from around the world.

MS&L won a competitive pitch to secure the account, and will provide PR across Europe, specifically targeting the UK, Germany, and Spain.

MS&L corporate director Nick Giles leads the account, reporting to World Beer Expo managing director David Moore and head of marketing Nigel Bruce.

"This is the first time someone has tried to organize a serious event for people in the brewing industry, said Giles. "It's also an opportunity to promote beer worldwide, and debate many of the issues affecting brewers today."
