SAN FRANCISCO: Allison & Partners has acquired The Montgomery Group, two months after the latter agency's founder passed away.

After the unexpected death of Stephen Pisinski in May, his widow Patricebegan looking for firms interested in buying her late husband's firm. "When my husband died, I focused on finding a home for Montgomery," Pisinski said. "I'm not Steve Pisinski. I didn't want to manage the group." Allison & Partners' status as a "creative, independent firm is what convinced Pisinski that this was the best home for The Montgomery Group's clients and staff. Allison & Partners has brought on board all four of The Montgomery Group's employees, as well as all of its clients, including the California Milk Advisory Board and the Argent Hotel in San Francisco.
