How long have you been at your job? One year.

Describe the space you work in As you walk in, you're greeted by two giant jars of gumballs. Through a sea of funky purple and yellow walls, you see a 1950s-style diner with pool table where we congregate to scan newspapers and have company meetings. My favorite conference room has a beautiful view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, a soothing vista for when the going gets tough. Our recently renovated stainless steel kitchen is another interesting space. The exposed steel beams and architectural markings on the wall make you feel like you've walked into a 3D blueprint. My office sports a comfy wicker couch and framed photos of children's artwork from three jobs ago.

Do you socialize with colleagues? Dinner parties, drinks, or lunch are typical. What's unique is that we have a committee that plans fun lunchtime events. Whether we host a noontime walk by the lake or kayak tour of Lake Champlain, KSV promotes spending time together in ways other than client work. My favorite activity was seeing the principals in our company work up a sweat during a KSV spinning class.

Who is the smartest person you work with? Recently, I've been impressed by principal Linda Kelliher's ease at closing a deal, though Tim Volk impresses me daily with his steady leadership. He always has time to share his insights on a client situation.

Who is the craziest person? Principal Yoram Samets always keeps us guessing, whether it's with the puppets he brings to meetings, or the latest chalk message that he scribbles on the floor.

What is the best thing about working there? Being able to walk into the principals' offices at any time and strike up a conversation.

What is the worst thing about working there? Looking at the lake, but not being able to be on it more often.

What's been your biggest mistake while working there? Not asking for more vacation.

And your luckiest break? Getting a story on All Things Considered.

What is the biggest thing to hit your office in the past year?

Besides 20 feet of snow, the RCC account.

Sneak us a good piece of gossip from your office We think Yoram Samets and Linda Kelliher are married, but don't tell anyone.
