NEW YORK: Xtreme Information, a UK-based advertising monitoring and press clipping company, has launched its services in the US.
Because the majority of its clients are international, Xtreme felt having an office in the US was imperative. "So many of our current clients have offices in the UK and US, explained Rachel Bowman, business development manager. "We needed a presence here to work for them effectively."
The company's services are entirely web-based. Xtreme Portfolio, the advertising division's new product, automatically delivers new advertisements to clients on a daily basis by way of a website. Press clippings are delivered through a website as well, and also through e-mail alerts.
"Being able to offer internet-based services has eliminated the problem of time differences, explained Bowman. "It has actually become an advantage for the first time, because websites are essentially being updated around the clock."
The company will compete in the US with such established players as Bacon's, Burrelle's, and Luce. However, Bowman predicted that Xtreme's combination of offerings will put it in a class of its own.
"Our advertising and press clipping divisions have really developed one another, said Bowman. "Currently, we do not have any competitors that have the same combined product offerings. Xtreme plans to attract new business with this differentiation as a major selling point.
The new office - located in New York - will be led by Bowman, and run by her staff of three. Bowman said she expects that number to double in a year's time.
