WHERE I WORK: Kirt Webster, VP, media marketing, Webster & Associates PR

How long have you been working there? Six years.

How long have you been working there? Six years.

Describe the physical space you work in Home-style environment, gold and platinum records on the wall, and paperwork everywhere. (Has anyone seen my desk lately?)

Do you socialize with your colleagues outside of work? Yes. This agency represents entertainers, so our work isn't confined to the office. It lends itself to working at award shows and other events at which we all hang out and socialize.

What is the best thing about working there? The freedom to do what we feel is right and to make our own decisions for a client. This is a boutique agency, so we can make fast decisions and move on.

And the worst thing? Some days you just wish there were more hours in a day and that the coffee pot would brew faster.

If you could change one thing about your job, what would it be?

Add another zero to my salary, and not after the dot.

What was your luckiest break? Starting my career working with Carl Perkins.

Carl wrote a book, Go Cat Go, and was headed to New York when he told me his friend Paul would be joining him. Little did I know it was Paul McCartney. Every media outlet's door flew open for me. What a way to start.

What has been your most embarrassing moment while working there? I had a client call unexpectedly. She needed to be picked up from the airport, and I hadn't cleaned my car in weeks. She had to whittle her way through all the garbage and papers. She was a trooper who never said a word or batted a lash.

What is the most exciting project you have worked on recently?

Hank Williams, Jr. and Kid Rock. The two are so different, yet so similar that it makes for great media. Add fiancee Pamela Anderson to the mix and it makes it even more interesting.

What are you usually thinking about when caught daydreaming at your desk? I search for answers as to why Alexander Graham Bell ever invented the phone. When not doing that, I dream of Little Debbie - yum, I love those little cakes!

Where do you see yourself in five years? At Betty Ford. And hopefully with someone responsible handling my estate.
