NEW YORK: Ogilvy PR has named Sherry Pudloski and Pam Jenkins - both former group directors of their respective healthcare practices - as MDs and co-heads of the firm's health and medical practice.

They replace Kym White, current MD of the New York office, and Tom Beall, now a chief talent officer for the agency, both of whom were promoted in the reshuffle when CEO Bob Seltzer left the agency.

Pudloski will be based in New York, and will handle the majority of pharmaceutical branding, corporate positioning, and issues-management responsibilities.

Jenkins will concentrate on public affairs, social marketing, and constituency relations, which she will do out of the agency's Washington, DC office.

"With two brains handling these distinct and equally important areas," explained Pudloski, "we are covering a broader span of the industry."

Citing a strong foundation laid by White and Beall, Pudloski said she and Jenkins plan on expanding the practice's work in the areas of state social marketing, corporate pharmaceuticals, and biotech.

Jenkins added, "We will also be working to increasingly integrate healthcare into Ogilvy's other practices in order to better service our clients."
