NEW YORK: New speakers have been added to the roster of PRWeek's first healthcare conference, Pharma's PR Diagnosis.

Jerome White, Eli Lilly's global sourcing manager, will take part in the panel discussion on "Balancing the needs of companies and their agencies." The panel will address issues like the increased use of procurement managers in PR agency reviews.

The panel also includes Kathy Cripps, Council of PR Firms president, and Marilyn Castaldi, recently appointed GM of Hill & Knowlton in New York.

Ernst & Young's previously announced session on the global outlook for the pharma industry will be led by Carolyn Buck Luce, senior partner in the global accounts group. The session will focus on findings in Partners with Vision, the firm's first global pharmaceutical report.

Al Ries, co-author of The Fall of Advertising & the Rise of PR, will open the cocktail reception at the end of the conference with observations about the pharma industry's PR challenges.

The November 20 conference is being held at New York's Waldorf Astoria.
