NEWS BRIEFS: Edelman hires Jeff Zilka

CHICAGO: Edelman has hired Jeff Zilka for the new position of EVP, director of financial communications in its Chicago office. Zilka had been the managing principal for the Chicago office of The Weiser Group. That office is being shut down. He was also US head of financial communications for Hill & Knowlton. Also joining Edelman in Chicago is William Keegan as SVP, director of crisis/issues management. Keegan had been director of corporate communications for energy services company NiSource. Kim Robinson has joined Edelman as senior consultant, public affairs, and will be based in Springfield, IL, the state capital.
