ATLANTA: Ketchum has made management changes in its Atlanta office and global marketing practice.

Barri Rafferty has been named director of the agency's Atlanta office, effective January 10. Rafferty is currently director of the agency's global brand marketing practice, and associate director of the New York City office.

Ketchum, which is owned by Omincom, ranked fourth among PR firms in US revenue in 2001, with $161 million in billings, according to PRWeek/ Council of Public Relations Firms annual rankings.

Rafferty, a native of Atlanta, succeeds Doug Breuer, who left Ketchum earlier this year.

Of the promotion, Rafferty said, "I am excited to combine my global brand experience with my passion for the city's culture."

Kelley Skoloda, the current director of new business and associate director of the Pittsburgh office and global marketing, will assume Rafferty's post as director of the global brand marketing practice.

Jane Shivers, partner and MD of the Atlanta office, has left the agency to open her own consultancy.

Currently, there are no plans to fill Shivers' post.
