DUBLIN: JWT Communications has won a competitive pitch for a new account to promote Finland as a destination for Irish tourists. The agency has been briefed by the London-based Finnish tourist board to handle media relations, travel trade PR and promotions including educational visits to Finland. JWT PR director Sharon Plunkett, who will head the annual account, said: 'Finland is becoming more popular in Ireland - skiing is a big market, and Lapland for Santa Claus.'.
