LONDON: UK companies have increased the proportion of their marketing budget allocated to PR expenditure to over 7%, according to a Marketing Forum survey due to be released later this month. PR allocation figures had dived from 10% to 6% last year. This is the first year allocations have increased since 1993. Marketing directors from 521 companies were quizzed for the survey. The average annual marketing budget amongst these directors was $24.48 million.
