DALLAS: BSMG Worldwide Southwest has restructured its Dallas operations and made seven employees redundant.
The move followed the resignation of Scott Bennett, former president of the office, who decided to leave BSMG and start an Internet publishing business. Ken Luce was then promoted to general manager.
'At that point it became clear that we did not need a separate crisis communication group, a separate training group, a separate environmental group,' Luce said.
The Dallas office will focus instead on its high-tech, retail/consumer, real estate and general public relations units, said Luce. A separate visual communications group produces brochures and collateral for BSMG and other customers.
