NEW YORK: Corporate communications company Medialink Worldwide has signed an agreement with Broadcast.com that will give both companies' clients increased Internet PR broadcast and production capability.
Under the terms of the agreement, Broadcast.com will carry Medialink's live and taped video and audio news releases and press events on its web site.
The relationship will give PR pros access to hundreds of thousands of additional viewers and listeners via the Web, Medialink officials claimed.
Broadcast.com, the leading aggregator and distributor of media streaming programming on the Internet, receives more than 500,000 hits daily and carries programming from more than 370 radio stations and networks as well as 30 TV stations and cable networks.
'We view this as the third of our significant support structures,' said Laurence Moskowitz, president and chairman of Medialink.
The deal, he explained, gives Medialink Internet broadcast access much like its arrangements with AP Newswire and ABC radio give it TV and radio distribution capability.
In turn, Broadcast.com receives the right to carry Medialink's broadcasting services exclusively, and use its production crews for live press and business-to-business events.
