Omnicom to acquire AMV

The world's largest communications group, Omnicom, will acquire the shares in ad agency Abbott Mead Vickers that it does not already own.

The world's largest communications group, Omnicom, will acquire the shares in ad agency Abbott Mead Vickers that it does not already own.

Omnicom will exchange stock valued at $545 million. Omnicom already held 27.7% in the UK advertising agency which services clients such as British Telecommunications and Volvo.
