While a location for the 2012 summer games will not be selected for several years, BSMG's campaign is designed to garner grass-roots financial support from residents and to tout the enthusiasm of the local sports community.

The Sporting News recently tabbed Dallas as one of the top five sports cities in the country. 'The 'Dallas is FANtastic' tagline reinforces the location, accommodations, sporting tradition and community commitment alive in the Dallas Metroplex,' said Ken Maxwell, creative director for the BSMG Visual Communications division.

'We developed a contemporary look that reflects our Texan heritage.'.
