FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ: Coronado Industries has taken on IR shop Market Pathways Financial Relations to spread the gospel about a new glaucoma treatment it has developed.
Coronado, which has been in business seven years, went public two years ago, yet it is still seen primarily as a research firm. The company went looking for an IR firm to help change this perception.
'It's time that people find out exactly who we are and what we've done,' said company president Gary Smith. He added that he has charged the agency with promoting the new treatment as well as positioning Coronado as a leading supplier within the sector.
Smith spent three months reviewing firms before selecting Market Pathways, and was specifically impressed by the agency's preparation. Other firms pitching for the business didn't know anything about the company and its offerings, while Market Pathways had done a substantial amount of research on Coronado.
Smith said Market Pathways will be targeting investors and analysts to discuss the company's future and its investment potential. Company officials are likely to start an investment road show within the next 60 to 90 days.
