LOS ANGELES: Sitrick & Company, the crisis communications agency renowned for its handling of high-profile cases like the Food Lion lawsuit against ABC News and media-scarred celebrity clients such as Christian Slater, has hired attorney Lisa Weil.

Christian Slater, has hired attorney Lisa Weil.
Weil joins the agency as a member of the firm’s litigation-support
practice.
Before arriving at Sitrick, she spent a number of years practicing
family law and litigation before shifting over to the government affairs
arena.
Her experience includes a stint as District Office chief of staff for
former Congressman Mel Levine. Most recently, Weil served as
public/environment affairs director for the Playa Vista development
project.
Though best known for its crisis practice, Sitrick also has an IR
department and handles some public affairs and corporate communications.
