NEW YORK: The Greek National Tourist Organization (GNTO) has again

named Spring, O’Brien as its PR agency of record in the US. After a

review of its communications needs, the GNTO renewed its one-year

arrangement with the agency.

’The renewal is the best recognition of our work,’ said firm president

Chris Spring. The account win can at least partially be attributed to

the presence of Spring, O’Brien EVP/managing director Meredith Pillon,

who has represented the GNTO over the last 18 years for various

agencies. Eleven million tourists, including more than 400,000

Americans, visited Greece in 1998.
