WASHINGTON, DC: The American Legacy Foundation has chopped the Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners team from the list of finalists for its lucrative anti-tobacco business.
Left in the running for the multi-million dollar account are teams led by Arnold Communications (with Porter Novelli), Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer (with Dan Klores Associates and Smith & Harroff) and The Richards Group (with Golin/Harris).
Bill Furmanski, the ALF's PR manager, said the elimination of Kirshenbaum was a ?product of scoring by the committee.?
The finalists now will complete a project to prove their mettle. The foundation hopes to make a decision by the end of the day on September 14.
