BOSTON: The Four Seasons Hotel/Boston has finally concluded its six-month search for a PR manager. Courtney McNeill, former Boston Ballet director of special events, will succeed Wendy Shattuck, who moved to a part-time role as independent marketing and PR consultant at the end of February.
"We wanted to find the right person, so we took our time," said David Marsh, director of sales and marketing for Four Seasons. "Courtney brings a well-balanced background through her previous experience and her understanding of the local Boston community."
McNeill will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening existing media and community relations for the Four Seasons, the only hotel in Boston to maintain the prized AAA "five diamond" rating. She will report to Marsh.
While with the Boston Ballet, McNeill helped publicize and produce gala society events, such as "A Standing Ovation: A Tribute to Bruce Marks." She also served as PR manager at Winston Flowers.
