MEXICO CITY: The Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau has

tapped Fleishman-Hillard Mexico to promote corporate and leisure travel

to Houston.

The program, which is bound by a nine-month, renewable contract, will be

managed from F-H’s Mexico City outpost, with support from the agency’s

Houston office. The budget is divided between both offices, with dollars

100,000 allocated to Mexico City for the first year and an unspecified

amount allocated to Houston.

F-H will highlight Houston’s entertainment, business and shopping

attractions through media and corporate relations and special

events.

’We want to increase its appeal to the well-seasoned Mexican traveler,’

said Flavio Diaz, FH Mexico SVP and GM.
