Teen People woos Revlon PR honcho

NEW YORK: Time Warner’s Teen People title has recruited former Revlon PR chief Denise Keegan as its new director of public affairs.

Revlon PR chief Denise Keegan as its new director of public affairs.



In the newly created post, Keegan will be responsible for developing a

PR plan for relating to the business and trade press.



As director of public relations at Revlon over the last six years,

Keegan helped formulate media relations and crisis strategies, and

coordinated events such as the Revlon Run/Walk for Women. Previously,

she worked for DeVries Public Relations and Susan Valentine Creative

Marketing. Revlon has not named Keegan’s replacement.



Teen People, which launched in January 1998, announced a guaranteed

circulation figure of 1.3 million last month.



The magazine focuses on young celebrities, fashion and the

accomplishments of teenagers.



Keegan will report to Debra Pickrel, the newly appointed associate

publisher, marketing.
