late July to start her own firm, has won the PR account for Zantaz.com,

a pre-IPO Internet start-up previously handled by Miller-Shandwick

Technologies.

Zantaz.com, a supplier of online digital archiving services that

recently received its third round of venture funding, launched a new

agency search several months ago, according to director of

communications Kathleen Archambeau.

’We needed a senior-level person who was already well-connected with

media and analysts,’ said Archambeau. ’What often happens is you hire a

big-name agency and it brings in all the big guns for the pitch, but end

up turning over the account to the junior staff.’

Rockman’s new msr.comm agency will launch a general corporate PR

campaign, and will also assist senior management with media training.
