Don Cogman, currently president/COO of B-M Worldwide, next month will

become EVP of corporate affairs at Y&R, a new position.

The job change comes on the heels of Graham Phillips’ move to become

chairman/CEO of Y&R Advertising (PRWeek, August 16). Y&R’s board of

directors recently named Bell president and COO, and he will assume the

role of CEO next year when Peter Georgescu becomes chairman

emeritus.

Cogman’s departure is not surprising, as he is a close confidant of

Bell’s and has a background in corporate and public affairs. Corporate

practice MD Peter Himler said a replacement will be named shortly.

Cogman was appointed president when Chris Komisarjevsky assumed the CEO

role last October.
