employee benefits consulting firm to start Change Management Associates

(CMA), a new venture for companies undergoing mergers, acquisitions or

downsizing.

Andrews, Sacunas & Saline got the idea of creating CMA after working

with Highmark, which was formed from the merger of Pennsylvania Blue

Shield with Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania.

The agency partnerned with Conrad M. Siegel, the second-largest

actuarial and benefits consulting firm in the state.

Siegel had witnessed companies revising their benefits, but failing to

effectively communicate the reason for the changes to employees, said

firm president Robert Dolan.
