According to partner Dan Driscoll, however, the agency will not be a

typical Internet marketing company. The firm’s business model is to work

with e-commerce companies in order to determine what they want - such as

increasing market share or developing relationships with shareholders -

out of their web sites.

’We’ll have no in-house capability to do advertising or PR,’ he

said.

Instead, Driscoll said, the firm will partner with PR, advertising or

marketing agencies to help clients achieve an effective web

presence.

Driscoll, who was Arnold’s account management EVP, started Solven.com

with partners David Scanlon (formerly Arnold COO) and Roni Taylor

(account director on the firm’s Mobil business). Three other senior

employees left Arnold with them: Michelle Sicola, James Baumann and

Deena Coleman. Each has been named directors of the new firm.
