CHICAGO: Fleishman-Hillard’s Chicago office has captured around
dollars 1.8 million in new accounts from three clients signed in late
August, resulting in a staffing growth spurt that has led to the
addition of five new senior executives.
The new client wins include: Toronto-based Moore Corp., which has
entrusted Fleishman with IR, reputation management and employee
communication assignments (dollars 850,000); Niles, IL-based Ha-Lo
Industries, for repositioning the former promotional products company as
a full-service brand marketing operation (dollars 700,000); and Ann
Arbor, MI-based E-Chemicals, for the launch of a new e-commerce site
(dollars 300,000).
Mike Barrett, director of corporate communications for Moore, said he
selected Fleishman over five other suitors because the firm could handle
a range of PR assignments and do IT work in both the US and Canada.
Fleishman replaces Golin/Harris as Moore’s chief PR voice.
According to Chicago office GM Robert McEwen, the three new accounts are
ideal long-term clients for Fleishman. ’It’s not like they’re calling us
at 4:45 on a Friday asking for just a news release,’ he joked.
