NEW YORK: Attention all students. PRWeek is giving away a grand
prize of dollars 5,000 and a paid internship at a leading agency in its
quest to find the PR Student of the Year.
The competition, a major feature of the PRWeek Awards 2000, is designed
to reward PR students who demonstrate real-life PR skills.
The award, which is open to all students and sponsored by BSMG, is also
intended to help attract new talent to the PR industry.
Entrants will be asked to develop a campaign strategy for an imaginary
dot-com start-up, and five finalists will be flown to New York to take
part in a crisis simulation.
