WARSAW: Hill & Knowlton has acquired Feedback, a dollars 2.1
million Polish PR firm.
Founded in 1994 by Agnieszka Dziedzic and Katarzyna Lutkiewicz, Feedback
had been an H&K associate office for the past three years. The
full-service agency, which will now be known as Feedback/Hill &
Knowlton, employs 16 people. Its client stable includes British Telecom,
Kellogg’s and Bristol Myers-Squibb.
While the acquisition is still subject to approval by Polish competition
authorities, H&K doesn’t expect the process to pose any problems,
according to European marketing assistant Sophie Charro.
The purchase expands H&K’s clout within the region - the agency now
boasts fully owned offices in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Estonia,
Latvia and Russia, as well as associates in Bulgaria, Turkey and
Romania.
’This acquisition gives Hill & Knowlton a commanding position in Central
and Eastern Europe,’ said European president Paul Taaffe.
