NEW YORK: Capping off an impressive year, BSMG Worldwide has
restructured its global management team.
Senior execs Andy Polansky, Barbara Molotsky and Tim Sutton have all
been named vice chairmen, while president Jack Leslie has swapped roles
with chairman Harris Diamond, who remains CEO.
’Since we decided not to change the firm’s name this year, we thought we
would swap titles,’ Diamond quipped. Leslie will oversee the company’s
public affairs, advocacy advertising and research operations, while all
operations and practice areas will report to the four vice chairs (Ted
Pincus is the other) or to Leslie.
Polansky, who remains president/COO of the firm’s NY office, will now
oversee BSMG’s California, Asia and healthcare operations. Current LA
and San Francisco head Joe Kessler will assume day-to-day responsibility
in the state.
Molotsky, currently president of the firm’s Midwest operations, will add
the Boston office, Southeastern US and global consumer marketing to her
charge, while Sutton will preside over Europe and head up the corporate
reputation practice.
The changes represent a ’recognition that the world’s changed for us,’
according to Diamond. He added that he expects to make several
acquisitions in Europe next year, with a focus on Spain and Italy.
