Poetry isn’t the first thing that springs to mind when we think of The Financial Relations Board/BSMG’s Ted Pincus - at least, until now.
Poetry isn’t the first thing that springs to mind when we think of
The Financial Relations Board/BSMG’s Ted Pincus - at least, until
now.
Having read his 35th annual holiday greeting to staff, we are pleasantly
surprised that beneath his IR savvy lurks the heart of an English
major.
Pincus waxes philosophical in a tone somewhere between cheeky and
frivolous.
So sip some egg nog, crank up Jewel’s new Christmas CD (on second
thoughts, don’t) and enjoy.
All of the calendar pressures we’re under
Provoke us to pause and start to wonder
If indeed our remarkable nation
Has achieved massive banalization ...
Enthralled as we are with flat TV panels
What will we do with 500 channels?
Or nearby malls the size of Texas
Each one offering 10 cineplexes?
And now as the century starts to ebb
Our salvation is to surf the Web
The final leap from forest primeval
To instant-everything-retrieval!
Try to crowd everything in
Before the 21st will begin
(Don’t panic or fret. And anyhow
It really starts a year from now!)
by Ted and Sherri Pincus.
