Bite previously worked with the company on a project basis, promoting the launch of the web and iOS versions of Quip in September 2013, and the Android version in December 2013.
It will target consumer, national and business media, supporting announcements of new features and customers. The agency will report to Quip head of business operations Molly Graham.
The app was created by ex-Facebook chief technology officer Bret Taylor and founder of Google Suggest Kevin Gibbs. It aims to provide easy collaboration and instant messaging across desktops, phones and tablets.
The news follows the hire of Waggener Edstrom senior digital consultant Dan Street to head up Bite’s insight and measurement proposition and Marketing Week features writer Lou Cooper to join the agency’s content team.
